You are invited to join Calvary Chapel Schools’ Parent Night, featuring Miles McPherson, on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary. Miles was formerly the defensive back of the San Diego Chargers and is now pastor of Rock Church and author of The Third Option: Hope for a Racially Divided Nation. He shares great insight on how we can navigate the racial division present in our culture today. Miles identifies the influences that shape our attitudes toward race and explains why we must cherish the priceless value of God’s image in all people.

Intelligent Faith Conference is designed to equip both seasoned leaders & Pastors as well as people just starting their faith journey. We also welcome those who are in a season of searching for answers who have yet to discover the truth of God’s word and the reason for our faith.

Refreshments provided for the whole event and lunch is included on Saturday.

Join us for a one-day fun and interactive Spring Singles Relationship Workshop. This workshop is held on Saturday, April 20 from 10 AM to 5 PM taught by pastor and relationship speaker, Marc Kitsko, M.A., MDiv. Over 100 singles of all ages attend our relationship singles workshops. Presented by Single+Passion Ministries a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, hosting annual singles workshops, conferences and retreats since 2009.

Who will love me for me is a conference for the broken those who feel abandoned and rejected. This is a FREE women’s only conference (appropriate for ages 12 and up).

If you have experienced any type of abuse (physically, emotionally, etc.) this conference is for you. Come and hear ladies share their testimonies and how they were redeemed by Jesus.

Lunch will be provided for free.

A space where you can release your fears and allow God to empower you, inspire you, and equip you to face today’s challenges. All while connecting with other praying women.

Who is this event for? This event is for Moms of all ages with children of all ages and stages. Women with no kids, but have a desire to pray for the children in their lives and the schools in their community. Grandmas, aunts, teachers, staff, and school administrators. Vintage Church LA will be hosting “Fighting Shadows”, a men’s event with Jon Tyson, where he will share key strategies to overcome the shadows and temptations that men face today. Come and get equipped to embrace masculinity as a God-given gift, instead of a curse to be battled.

Jon Tyson is now Senior Pastor of Church of the City New York and a renowned Speaker and Author. Using his humor, passion and personal experience he connects with people to call them to follow Jesus authentically.

He is a powerful advocate for men and fatherhood, as well as Fighting Shadows, he has authored several books including ‘The Intentional Father’. He runs Primal Path, a discipleship program for Fathers and Sons and the ‘Forming Men’ ministry which includes a Podcast with Jefferson Bethke.

Come to the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival on Memorial Day weekend. They’ll have lots of fun games and great food along with exciting carnival rides for the whole family. On the Friday of the Festival at 6pm they’ll be serving free strawberry shortcake! On the Saturday of the festival at 10am you can see celebrities, marching bands and more in one of the best parades in Orange County. Contests are held each day of the festival at the amphitheater, and they’ll have live music each day at the showmobile. Admission to the Strawberry Festival is free!
